This position plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of Canik USA's manufacturing facility. Responsible for maintaining and repairing machinery and equipment to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment according to schedule. This includes lubricating parts, replacing worn components, and inspecting for potential issues.
- Inspects and identifies equipment or machines in need of repair.
- Diagnose equipment malfunctions and perform repairs in a timely manner to minimize production disruptions. Utilize technical manuals, diagnostic tools, and your mechanical expertise to identify and resolve problems.
- Supports outside suppliers performing equipment and building maintenance.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to extend the lifespan of equipment and prevent unexpected failures.
Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
- Performs general facilities repairs drywall, painting, and repairing doors and other building fixtures.
- Cleans and assists with upkeep of the facilities.
- Maintain inventory levels of spare parts and supplies necessary for equipment maintenance and repairs. Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of required parts.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance activities.
- Conduct regular safety inspections of equipment and work areas to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Work closely with other maintenance technicians, engineers, and production personnel to troubleshoot complex issues, implement improvements, and support continuous process optimization.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
