Role Overview : As a School-Based Occupational Therapist at Soliant, you'll play a crucial role in providing occupational therapy services to students within a school environment.
We're looking for a compassionate and skilled professional committed to making a positive impact on students' lives.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, and activities of daily living.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on assessment results and student needs.
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, addressing goals related to motor coordination, sensory integration, self-care, and classroom participation.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to ensure cohesive care and effective intervention strategies.
- Monitor student progress, maintain detailed therapy session documentation, and communicate effectively with the school team and caregivers.
- Stay updated with the latest best practices and evidence-based interventions in the field of occupational therapy.
Qualifications :
- Hold a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Possess current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
- Preferably have experience working with school-aged children.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Exhibit the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
