Community Behavioral Health Center (CBHC) – Northeast Ohio
For more than 30 years, CBHC has provided compassionate, community-based mental health care to adults across Northeast Ohio. We’re seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (APRN-CNP) or Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) to join our interdisciplinary team of physicians, therapists, and case managers. You’ll provide evidence-based care to adults with acute and chronic mental health conditions in a supportive, consensus-driven environment.

Conduct psychiatric evaluations and follow-up visitsDevelop and manage individualized medication and treatment plansIdentify short- and long-term care needs; implement care directivesEducate patients and families on diagnosis, medications, and safety planningDocument care in the EMR and e-prescribe in accordance with regulatory standardsCoordinate care with internal and external providers to support whole-person healthQualifications
Current Ohio APRN license (CNP or CNS)Psychiatric board certification (PMHNP-BC or CNS in Psych / Mental Health)Unrestricted prescriptive authority and active DEAProficiency with EMR documentation and e-prescribingExperience in an outpatient setting preferredCommitment to community-based mental health for adults (18+)Language skills in Ukrainian, Russian, or Arabic are highly valuedHow to Apply
