- Work with global customer designing and implementing large complex networks
- Must hold an active Secret clearance
- At least ten (10) years of progressive experience and team leadership in the design and implementation of large, complex global networks
- Well versed in cloud architectures, software defined networking, data center switching technologies, and securing virtual environments (AWS, Azure, Google desired)
- Strong WAN experience
- Cisco Certified Internetworking Expert or Cisco Certified Design Expert (CCIE or CCDE) certification desired
- Excellent communications and leadership skills
- Demonstrated confidence with the ability to present and have customer facing conversations
- Develop test plans, implementation plans, and project timelines for various projects.
- Manage technology vendors.
- Write functional requirements / specifications documents.
- Assess vendor development / test strategies for various network domain phase 0 projects.
- Perform network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common network problems.
- Good knowledge on firewall design and implementation.
- Background in deploying both bare metal systems and virtual cloud services
- Proven experience evaluating emerging technologies and incorporating them into existing or new systems
- Ability and willingness to travel OCONUS
- Advanced knowledge of and experience with networking and network protocols (e.g. TCP / IP, routing, Checkpoint firewalls, Inflobox DNS, F5 LTM, Inflobox GTM, SSH, VPNs)
- Proven ability to accomplish assigned tasks with little supervision
- Thorough understanding of modern service provider TCP / IP data networks using standards and technologies including but not limited to : Ethernet, OSPF, IGMP, STP, RSTP, 802.
1q, 802.11n, and 802.11ac.
- Knowledge, skills and experience with Cisco routing, switching, and wireless hardware, software and protocols.
- Working knowledge of structured cabling systems and network facilities.
- Ability to work alone as an individual contributor, as a technical lead and as a participant in a team environment.
