Travel Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery - $2,520 per week

Tact Staff is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Newark, New Jersey.

must work 1 of 2 or 2 of 3 holidays per unit needs ; please denote all RTO upon submission

13 week contract...

Will float to the high risk AP / PP unit to care for pregnant women who require hospitalization and postpartum women. Could also be assigned to monitor patients that are high risk AP patients in the ICU / ED / tele units who require continuous or intermittent fetal monitoring

There may be additional float units based on skill set and hospital needs

When the floated to care for a patient who requires a higher level of care, traveler will not be the primary RN and are only there to perform OB assessments and fetal monitoring

Weekend Requirement : 4 weekend shifts (Sat / Sun)...

2+ Years of Experience Required

Certifications Required : BLS, ACLS, EFM Intermediate (will accept advanced but not beginner) awhonn or ncc, NRP

Patient Mix / Skill Requirements : Circulate C-Sections

Patient Ratio : 1-2 / 3 L&D depends on acuity, phase of labor, 3-6 Women’s Health Unit depends on assignment / acuity

225 births per month

21 bed unit

Charting System : EPIC and CPN
