Swift Sensors is growing and seeking a Senior Java Developer for IoT Gateway and Server to join our R&D team. As an integral member of our development team, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing software solutions for our cutting-edge IoT gateways, sensors, and back-end products.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and debug embedded software solutions using Java programming language for Linux-based systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Architect and implement software components for IoT gateways, ensuring high performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing to ensure software quality and reliability.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to deployment and maintenance.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends in embedded Linux software development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Solid understanding of embedded systems development principles and practices.
• Proficiency in Java programming language, with experience in developing embedded software applications.
• Strong knowledge of Linux operating system internals and experience with Linux-based embedded systems.
• Familiarity with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and embedded Linux distributions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex software issues.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a team environment.
• Passion for learning and staying updated on emerging technologies in embedded software development.
