Unit 2 : MS Stroke Stepdown Patients

Floating Required : Yes

Scrub Color : Navy Blue

EMR Exp : EPIC

Requirements :

Must live 75 Miles away from facility

2+ years of experience in MS that documents travel experience.

2 recent MS Charge / Manager RN References

Skills Checklist matching specialty

Drivers licenses with address that matches demographics

Current AHA BLS, NIHSS

NURSYS Report Licenses verification with ACTIVE NY

Oncology Chemo Certificate Preferred / Not Required For unit 1 .

Oncology Experience is Required For unit 1 .

Unit Specifics :

Common Diagnosis - CA diagnosis, Oncology, Hematology, ESRD, Diabetes, GI, Abdominal Pain, Dermatology, General Medicine, Stroke, altered mental status, renal, dialysis, COPD, CHF, isolation, general med surg, pneumonia, pulmonary issues.

Specialty Equipment :

IV pumps, NG tubes, feeding tubes, Chest tubes, specialty beds (sand beds)

Required drips & Medications :

Heparin drips, Lasix, Bumex, blood administration and chemo.
