Our rehab team at Scripps Mercy Hospital Chula Vista is eager to welcome an acute inpatient Occupational Therapist to their tight-knit department.

This team partners closely with other rehab disciplines to provide a collaborative approach to patient care. The ideal candidate is passionate about learning and excited to make a difference in this southern San Diego community.

The Occupational Therapist provides evaluation, assessment, prognosis, treatment, and education to patients and clients through a continuum of care according to the therapist’s respective licensure / registration / certification, Code of Ethics, Federal / State regulations, JCAHO / UMQC and Care Center policies and procedures.

They perform competencies as outlined in Rehabilitation Services Competency Assessment tools and demonstrate age specific care as established for area and job title.

Position Pay Range : $50.20-$74.47 / hour

In compliance with the California Pay Transparency Act, Scripps Health posts the pay range for all jobs. Please note that actual pay will be determined based on relevant experience and internal equity within the pay range.

Please also note this range is applicable for employees who reside in California only. A geographical pay differential may be applied for remote employees who reside out of state.

• Graduate of an accredited school of Occupational Therapy
• Current Occupational Therapy license in the State of California
• Current BLS Certificate from the American Heart Association

Preferred Experience :

• At least 2 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist in an acute care setting
