BFT Temporary Senior Project Manager / Change Management-(3297644)
Description
The Senior Project Manager, Change Management, will report to the Executive Director of Organizational Readiness (Organizational Change Management) for Business Excellence and will contribute through both subjective matter expertise in Change Management as well as proficiency in complex project management.
This role will work independently under the guidance of the Executive Director in leading practices for project excellence and in applying change expertise in partnership with key leaders and stakeholders.
Provides direction to work and delegation to team members to ensure that change projects remain in-scope and meet scheduling and quality requirements.
Creates, manages, and distributes project communications artifacts such as status reports and information slide decks. Guides team report-out meetings.
This individual can stand in for the Executive Director of Organizational Readiness as necessary and can lead multiple projects independently.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, project oversight, evaluation, coordination, development and documentation of project plans, requirements and specifications, timelines, status, and special projects.
Planning
1.Identifies project objectives, scope, budget, resources, dependencies, and risks in collaboration with Executive Director and Project Sponsors.
Prepares and manages work to project charter and obtains buy-in from all stakeholders.
2.Facilitates the development of project timeline, defines deliverables and milestones, and sets priorities.
3.Collaborates with Executive Director and workstream teams on change management and communication approach and plan for program and project duration.
Aids in determining needed meeting types, frequencies and participants.
Ongoing Project Management
1.Owns accountability for meeting project objectives within the prescribed budget.
2.Develops, maintains, and delegates where necessary project documentation including, but not limited to Project Plan, Meeting Agendas, Meeting Minutes, Decision Documents, Scope Change Forms.
3.Monitor progress and help ensure corrective actions take place to avoid project slippage.
4.Establishes and maintains a change control process and framework.
5.Documents and communicates project status regularly. Alerts Executive Director of any risks jeopardizing the execution of the project.
Proactively identifies issues and risks; resolves or escalates issues in a timely and effective manner.
6.Manages project staff, if applicable. Creates a positive project team environment.
7.Performs project-related analytical work as needed.
Advisory
1.Act as a consultant and advisor to the Organizational Readiness team, as well as stakeholders and leadership groups, on matters of change management best practices.
2.Serves as a change management primary point of contact for assigned projects to ensure coordination and integration with other projects.
This includes implementation of Workday, major areas of anticipated impact as identified by Business Excellence and functional leadership, and foundational projects related to Business Excellence scope.
3.Facilitates project team decision making, and helps develop recommendations for items that require input and / or decision making by project sponsors or other stakeholders.
4.Proactively works with the team to anticipate and address change management and communicate needs related to the project.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- 5-8+ years’ experience in operations management, project management or management consulting, preferably in a healthcare environment.
- 5-8+ years of Human Resources and change transformation management experience as applicable.
- PMP Certification preferred .
- Strong working knowledge of change management and the modern healthcare environment.
- Proficiency with Atlassian tools or ther project management software.
- A combination of education and experience may be substituted for requirements.
