Job Title : Aerospace Wire Harness Technician

Job Description

As a Wire Harness Technician, you will be responsible for building custom harnesses through tasks such as cutting, stripping, crimping, soldering, and terminating based on wire diagrams. You will work on wire harness assembly and interpret wiring schematics to ensure precise manufacturing verification.

Responsibilities

  • Build custom harnesses including cutting, stripping, crimping, soldering, and terminating based on wire diagrams.
  • Assemble wire harnesses and ensure compliance with wiring schematics.
  • Interpret drawings, including docker images or schematics, for accurate assembly.
  • Work with military circular connectors to ensure functionality and safety.
  • Ensure test boxes are safe to mate before progressing to the next department.
  • Utilize various fasteners and fastening tools for assembly and control panel setups.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in wire harness assembly, including cutting, stripping, crimping, soldering, and terminating.
  • Ability to read and interpret wiring schematics and diagrams.
  • Experience with military circular connectors and ensuring test box safety.
  • 5 years of experience as a wire harness technician or master technician.
  • Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in assembling PCBAs and harnesses.
  • Familiarity with Molex wire harness (preferred but not required).
  • Experience as an avionics technician or in vehicle manufacturing.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
  • Experience in test fixture and harness build.

    Job Type & Location

    This is a Contract position based out of Long Beach, California.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $37.00 - $37.00 / hr.
