Excel Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a travel job in Bemidji, Minnesota.

Job Overview

  • Role : Respiratory Therapist (RT)
  • Shift : 12H Day / Night Rotate (3x12s / week)
  • Schedule : Every other weekend
  • Start Date : October (if SD license in hand) | November start acceptable
  • Scrubs : Gray
  • Locals : 80-mile rule
  • Care Setting : Acute
  • Division : Allied Health

    • Requirements

  • Experience : Minimum 2 years RT experience

    • Adult, Pediatric, and / or Neonatal critical care experience a plus

  • Certifications :

    • RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)

  • BLS (AHA)
  • Licensure : Active SD RT license (required for October start, will wait for November if pending)

    • Duties

  • Perform :

    • Nebulizers / inhalers, oxygen therapy / titration, protocols

  • Airway clearance, trach changes
  • Ventilator management (Avea, Hamilton, Oscillator 3100A / B, Jet Vent)
  • BiPAP / CPAP, SiPAP
  • Overnight oximetry
  • Metaneb & Aerogen

    • Equipment

  • Epic (One Chart)
  • Accudose med dispensing
  • Ventilators : Avea, Hamilton, Oscillator, Jet Vent
  • BiPAP / CPAP : V-60, SiPAP
  • Metaneb, Aerogen

    • Other Details

  • Must badge in / out at facility
  • Sanford policy : If previously employed, must have 6+ months since end date
  • Cancellation Policy : Client may cancel up to 12 hrs per 13 weeks
