Job Description
- Invoice Processing and Verification :
- Review, verify, and process incoming invoices from vendors and suppliers.
- Ensure invoices comply with company policies and proper supporting documentation.
- Vendor Communication :
- Respond promptly and professionally to vendor inquiries and discrepancies.
- Maintain positive vendor relationships through effective communication.
- Payment Processing :
- Prepare and schedule payments according to agreed-upon terms and due dates.
- Coordinate with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely payment execution.
- Expense Tracking and Reporting :
- Monitor and track company expenses to maintain accurate financial records.
- Assist in generating financial reports related to accounts payable activities.
- Reconciliation and Recordkeeping :
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date records of accounts payable transactions.
- Internal Controls and Compliance :
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and company financial policies.
- Process Improvement :
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency enhancements.
- Recommend and implement improvements to streamline accounts payable workflows.
- Month-End Close and Reporting :
- Participate in month-end and year-end closing activities, including reconciliations and accruals.
- Assist in preparing accurate financial reports for management review.
- Team Collaboration :
- Work closely with the accounts payable team and other departments.
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members, as needed.

The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or relevant certification is a plus.
- 3+ years of experience in accounts payable or relevant accounting roles.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
