The Restaurant Manager is responsible for the management of the Bloomington ChopHouse, Olive Lounge, and In-Room Dining.
Responsibilities :
- Interview, select, train, supervise, and counsel restaurant staff for efficient operation of the outlets.
- Organize and conduct pre-shift meetings to communicate pertinent information to the staff.
- Ensure discipline is administered timely and fairly with HR involvement
- Interact positively with customers promoting facilities and services through table visits. Resolve problems to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Establish and maintain effective associate relations.
- Move throughout facility and kitchen areas to visually monitor and take action to ensure food quality and service standards are met.
- Administer sales promotion program and employee incentive programs.
- Staffing of the restaurant, bar, and room service.
- Implementing and supporting policies and procedures.
- Assessing and reviewing the job performance of subordinates.
Requirements :
- Previous food and beverage management / supervisory experience, fine-dining / steakhouse atmosphere preferred
- Flexible schedule to include morning, day, and evening availability
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations and preparation techniques
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English language
- Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers
