Job description :
Manage complex energy and natural resources transactional work including M&A, project development, and commercial agreements.
Handle renewable energy transactions such as joint ventures, build-transfer agreements, PPAs, O&M, and procurement contracts.
Support or draft engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contracts for renewable energy facilities.
Work on financing transactions in energy and natural resources sectors.
Collaborate across teams and clients to manage multiple priorities with high responsibility and accuracy.
Qualifications :
Experience in a sophisticated law firm environment managing complex energy and natural resources transactional work (M&A, project development and commercial agreements).
Experience with renewable energy transactional work (M&A, joint ventures, build-transfer agreements, commercial agreements such as PPAs, O&M Agreements, Shared Facilities Agreements, and procurement contracts for equipment and materials).
Experience with engineering, procurement and construction contracts for renewable energy generating facilities is advantageous but not a requirement.
Experience with financing transactions in the energy and natural resources sector is advantageous but not a requirement.
Experience in oil and gas is plus, but not a requirement.
Excellent interpersonal skills, strong work ethic and the ability to manage multiple priorities and assume a high degree of responsibility.
Need State bar License.
