Job description :

  • Manage complex energy and natural resources transactional work including M&A, project development, and commercial agreements.
  • Handle renewable energy transactions such as joint ventures, build-transfer agreements, PPAs, O&M, and procurement contracts.
  • Support or draft engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contracts for renewable energy facilities.
  • Work on financing transactions in energy and natural resources sectors.
  • Collaborate across teams and clients to manage multiple priorities with high responsibility and accuracy.

Qualifications :

  • Experience in a sophisticated law firm environment managing complex energy and natural resources transactional work (M&A, project development and commercial agreements).
  • Experience with renewable energy transactional work (M&A, joint ventures, build-transfer agreements, commercial agreements such as PPAs, O&M Agreements, Shared Facilities Agreements, and procurement contracts for equipment and materials).
  • Experience with engineering, procurement and construction contracts for renewable energy generating facilities is advantageous but not a requirement.
  • Experience with financing transactions in the energy and natural resources sector is advantageous but not a requirement.
  • Experience in oil and gas is plus, but not a requirement.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, strong work ethic and the ability to manage multiple priorities and assume a high degree of responsibility.
  • Need State bar License.
