Immediate hire for 2 days per week! Candidate must have experience with DigitalRx software.
Must have clean license and be willing to relocate to nearby location and sign as Pharmacist.
Hours : Monday - Friday 9 : 30am to 5 : 30pm (Closed on weekends)
Job Overview :
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Staff Pharmacist to join our team. As a Staff Pharmacist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional pharmaceutical care to our patients.
Your expertise and attention to detail will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications.
Duties :
- Review and interpret medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop patient-specific medication plans
- Conduct patient assessments to identify potential drug interactions or adverse effects
- Provide counseling and education to patients on medication usage, side effects, and precautions
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to pharmacy practice
- Maintain accurate patient records and medication profiles
- Oversee the preparation and dispensing of medications
- Monitor medication therapy outcomes and make recommendations for adjustments as needed
- Utilize utilization management techniques to optimize patient care and minimize costs
Experience :
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications :
- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited school of pharmacy
- Current state pharmacist license in good standing
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical management principles
- Experience in utilization review and utilization management is preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication skills with the ability to educate patients and collaborate with healthcare professionals
