Job Details
A large system in Nebraska / Iowa are looking for Day and Night ICU RN's. Valid RN license in the US with clean record.
12 hour shifts, 2 years of unit experience. BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS
Job Requirements
- Valid RN license in the US with clean record
- 2 years of unit experience
- ICU experience with experience in drips, vents, bipaps
- RN's required to titrate drips : vasopressors, sedation (levo, neo, cardene, precedex, propofol, etc)
Schedule Information
- Shifts & Scheduling - 1830-0700. every third weekend
- No self-scheduling. Cannot guarantee block scheduling
- Weekend Requirements- every third weekend
- Holiday Requirements- 4th of July
- No call or standby requirement

of Beds- 16
- Nurse : Patient Ratios- 2 : 1
- Common diagnoses / Types of patients- Medical ICU- sepsis, resp failure, stroke, MI
- How many years’ experience required?- preferred 2 years
- Previous travel experience required?- preferred
- Are RNs required to read their own strips?- Monitor tech will read but nurse but be able to read and verify
- What brand are the tele monitors?- draegers
Additional Details
- Candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and / or Dignity
- RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13-week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions
- Open Book exam on skills learned during orientation - must receive a 90% to pass
