Position Overview
As a Mortgage Loan Officer, you will play a crucial role in assisting clients through the mortgage process, providing expert knowledge on various loan products including FHA, VA, and Conventional mortgages.
Your main objective will be to generate leads and convert them into successful mortgage applications while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and nurture leads through various channels including self-generation and networking
- Guide clients through the mortgage application process, explaining loan options and requirements
- Evaluate client financial information to determine eligibility for various mortgage products
- Prepare and present loan proposals to clients in a clear and professional manner
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of FHA, VA, and Conventional mortgage products
- Collaborate with underwriters, processors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely loan closings
- Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the mortgage process
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Mortgage Loan Officer
- Strong lead generation skills with a successful track record
- In-depth understanding of FHA, VA, and Conventional mortgage products
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Valid mortgage loan originator license as required by state laws
