Job Details :

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a highly respected company, where your expertise in accounting will play a critical role in our business operations.

As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial records, preparing journal entries, and ensuring the accuracy of our financial transactions.

This is a permanent, full-time position that requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities :

As a Senior Accountant, your key responsibilities will include :

1. Preparing and reviewing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.

2. Handling all aspects of journal entries including recording, reviewing, and ensuring accuracy.

3. Assisting with the preparation and coordination of the audit process.

4. Implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures.

5. Analyzing and reporting on financial status including income statement variances, communicating financial results to management, and budget preparation and analysis.

6. Overseeing the accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliation processes.

7. Ensuring compliance with all internal processes and legal requirements.

8. Assisting in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.

9. Identifying opportunities for process and operational improvements.

Qualifications :

To be considered for the Senior Accountant position, you must have :

1. A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience.

2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting role.

3. Proven experience with journal entries and general ledger functions.

4. Strong knowledge of GAAP and other accounting principles, laws, and regulations.

5. Excellent analytical skills with a thorough attention to detail.

6. Proficiency in using financial software and MS Office. Experience with Great Plains is highly desired.

7. Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity.

8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.

9. Ability to work independently, manage large, complex projects, and meet deadlines.
