5 years of relevant experience required License : Kansas or Compact License required at time of submission Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIH, & PALS Must-Have : Applicants must have experience in interpretation / management of dysrhythmias, management of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction / failure, central line care / management, continuous IV sedation, IV vasopressors, CPAP / BiPAP, interpretation of ABGs, ventilated patients, isolation precautions, and triage.
Job Description : Work in the Emergency Department primarily during night shifts.- Provide high-quality care under potentially high-pressure situations.
- Maintain and follow a regular schedule of weekends required every other weekend.- Adhere to a 100-mile radius rule for residency from the facility.
- First time travelers are not accepted for this position.- Engage in orientation, which consists of 12 hours.- Work to a maximum patient ratio of 1 : 4 while wearing a navy blue scrub.
- Ensure completion of required COVID-19 vaccination, with medical or religious exemptions only, and follow facility policies regarding flu vaccine requirements.
- Attend to the various needs and critical conditions of patients efficiently and professionally.Note : Locals within a 100-mile radius are not accepted.
