Ads / Monetization Technology teams are building the next-generation monetization platforms to help millions of customers grow their businesses, utilizing our products like TikTok.

Our teams develop a wide variety of advertisements for numerous uses including feeds, live streaming, branding, measurement, targeting, vertical solutions, creative solutions, and business integrity.

This channel serves as the entry point for our general hiring process : you will go through two to three rounds of technical interviews and then proceed to team matching.

Your profile will be reviewed by multiple teams within Monetization Technology, which is a great benefit!

Successful candidates must be able to commit to an onboarding date by end of year 2025.

We will prioritize candidates who are able to commit to these start dates. Please state your availability and graduation date clearly in your resume.

Key Responsibilities

• Create innovative monetization products that drive engagement and business outcomes.
• Develop highly scalable services that power new ad products for billions of requests.
• Implement new ad solutions that will continuously protect the user experiences on TikTok.
• Collaborate with strategy team, product managers, and other key stakeholders to define products and drive initiatives from engineering perspective.
• Contribute to the success of a rapidly growing and evolving organization with speediness and quality.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
• Excellent programming, debugging, and optimization skills in one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to : Go, C / C++, Python, Java.
• Ability to think critically and to formulate solutions to problems in a clear and concise way.
• Deep understanding of computer architectures, data structures, and algorithms.
• Very strong teamwork skills (e.g. communication, ownership, empathy, honesty).

Preferred Qualifications

• Good understanding in one of the following domains : ad tech, bidding, ranking, recommendation, search, backend, large-scale systems, or data pipeline.
• Good product sense and experience designing and implementing product features.
