We’re looking for qualified Nurse Practitioners like you to join our Texas Health family.Work location : Texas Health Dallas, 8200 Walnut Hill Lane, Dallas, Texas, 75231Work Hours : Full Time, 36 Hours, Friday, Saturday & Sunday, 7 : 00am 7 : 00pmOrthopedic Surgery Department Highlights : · Highly experienced, tenured team· Level I Trauma Center· High Volume Service Line· Working towards Center of Excellence certificationHere’s What You Need· Bachelor’s Degree Graduate of an accredited nursing program required AND· Master’s Degree Graduate of Nurse Practitioner program required· Other CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency required· 2 years of experience as Nurse Practitioner preferred· Acute Care certification preferred· 2 year experience in Ortho preferred· RN Registered Nurse upon hire required AND· APRN Advance Practice Registered Nurse upon hire required AND· NP Nurse Practitioner upon hire required· ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 30 days preferred And· BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support (prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly) required· ACNP Acute Care Nurse Practitioner based on area of practice upon hire required OR· FNP Family Nurse Practitioner based on area of practice required OR· ANNP Adult Nurse Nurse Practitioner based on area of practice required OR· PMHNP Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner based on area of practice required OR· ACNP Adult Gerentology Nurse Practitioner based on area of practice requiredHere’s What You Will Do· Utilize principles and skills in communication and interviewing techniques in obtaining a comprehensive health history to formulate a plan of care and make decisions for appropriate therapeutic· Use principles and skills in advanced health assessment for differentiating normal and abnormal findingsSynthesize knowledge of physiology, pathophysiology, culture, and socioeconomics to access, evaluate, and provide therapeutic interventions to patientsCollaborate with the multidisciplinary team to improve care processes in order to promote continuity of careInitiate actions to meet patients / families’ needsTake actions to reduce patients risksPerform specialty specific technical procedures safely and proficientlyProduce documentation that initiates, follows, and revises patients' plan of careFocus on adherence to clinical pathways, protocols, and policies to ensure high reliability of clinical programPromote population health through the evaluation of care delivery models as they pertain to community, environmental, cultural and socio-economical dimensions of health.
