JOBSUMMARY

The Sales Manager isprimarily responsible for overseeing all functions of the sales andcoordination team to ensure client satisfaction through efficient,professional, and personal support.

Responsible for the budgetarysuccess of sales goals through efforts in assisting team memberswith projects and providingoversight.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Mustbe able to facilitate functions as described in all levels of salesand coordination job descriptions
  • Provideleadership, development, and coaching of team members. Activelyengaging and supporting the development of the team to ensurebetter performance and successionplanning.
  • Working with HR / Recruitment drive therecruitment & selection of sales and coordination teammembers.
  • Contribute to the design andimplementation of programs and projects which impact thedepartment
  • Ensure fiscal responsibility to thecompany by managing optimal gross margin, minimizing unnecessaryreturns and good coordination processes to reduce preventablecosts
  • Ensure team members are knowledgeablewith mfg programs, rebates, specials, etc, in order to providecompetitiveness in the market place
  • Motivateteam members to achieve a consistent level of performance withsales goals and other Metrics for thedepartment
  • Experience in understanding andhandling difficult / escalated clientelesituations
  • Assist team members with priorityissues
  • Monitor, track, and report on theproductivity, performance, and quality of the sales andcoordination individuals
  • Identify staffstrengths and weaknesses for training and development purposes.Hold staff accountable for any deficiencies in a consistentlytimely manner
  • Ensure high level of customerservice in order to exceed customer expectations and creatingrelationships that encourage customers toreturn
  • Facilitate ongoing product trainingopportunities for team members
  • Develop andprovide timely analytical reports to identify sales trends makestimely process improvement recommendations to Call CenterAdministration
  • Ensures all team members arecurrent on all procedures, policies, and guidelines throughtraining and communication
  • Develop andrecommend operating policy and proceduralimprovements
  • Other duties asassigned

QUALIFICATIONS : Education

Education

High school diploma orequivalent

Experience

  • Minimum5 to 7 years experience in sales, or related transferableskills
  • Leadershipexperience
  • Customer-centric and Internetsavvy
  • Strong MS Officeskills
  • Experience in understanding and handlingdifficult / escalated clientelesituations

PreferredQualifications :

  • Associatesor Bachelor’s degree
  • Restaurantsupply / commercial food serviceexperience
  • BilingualSpanish
