The Medical Benefits Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating patients insurance benefits and eligibility, ensuring that they receive healthcare services without delay.
Location : Work from Home - All candidates must live in the Dallas Fort Worth Area & have a designated work space at home.
Pay : $18-20 / hr. based on experience

Schedule : 8 hour shift between 7am-7pm CST (8am-8pm EST)
Job Description :
Communication with patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies to facilitate access to medical care.
Verify and document patients medical insurance coverage and benefit eligibility prior to medical services.
Communicate with insurance companies to obtain medical benefit authorization and pre-authorizations.
Manage pre-authorizations, referrals, and documentation of services.
Preferred skills / experience :
One year of healthcare call center experience
Benefit verification - Prior Authorization
Medical collections
Prefer healthcare work experience and familiarity with medical benefits, medical insurance, prescriptions
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
Co-pay, co-insurance, deductible
PAP - patient assistance programs
Education :
Verifiable high school diploma or equivalent
Criminal Background & Drug Screening
2 verifiable employment references
