Description
SAIC is looking to hire a talented Senior DevSecOps Engineer to lead the O&M team responsible for the design, implementation, and management of Oracle Cloud solutions.
The right candidate will be responsible for implementing best practices to operate and maintain resilient secure Oracle Cloud environments, to enable development teams to deliver features in the most efficient way possible.
This opportunity will be remote.
Responsibilities
Operate and maintain cloud environments using Infrastructure as Code (Iac) and SRE principles.
Maintenance and ongoing development of automation and continuous build / integration / deployment infrastructure for multiple environments;
write, build and deploy scripts.
Enable observability and resilience throughout multi-cloud landing zones and Dev / Test / Prod environments.
Ensuring security and compliance standards are met across all OCI deployments.
Continuously assess, onboard, and enable new FedRAMP cloud services using security best practices for IAM and networking.
Collaborating with cross functional teams to define and implement cloud architecture best practices.
Qualifications
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree and 5 years of experience. 9 Years of Experience in Lieu of a degree.
Must be U.S Citizen
Must be able to obtain a public of Trust clearance to start and the ability to get a full secret clearance
Proven background working in cloud environments with experience and knowledge in one or more of the following areas :
Agile methodologies including Scrum or Kanban
Agile collaboration tools such as Atlassian Jira, Confluence
CI / CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Bitbucket, Artifactory)
Oracle OCI certified or equivalent years of experience working with Oracle cloud services
Oracle PeopleSoft and PeopleTools experience preferred but not required.
Strong knowledge and understanding of Oracle cloud concepts (Compartments, Identity Domains, Dynamic groups, etc)
Containerization and container management with Kubernetes and Helm
PowerShell or Bash Scripting
Cyber tools - Aviatrix, Orca, Splunk, Qmulous, STIG scanner
Terraform, Ansible, Oracle Stacks
Git, branching strategies, GitFlow and / or GitHub Flow
Cloud high availability and scalability best practices and architectures
Ability to dive deep into any par of the stack and low level-systems
Target salary range : $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
