We are on the lookout for a Team Lead, Night Shift in Buena Park, who shares our passion for being Customer Obsessed. In this dynamic role, you will play a crucial part in being responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations.

This role involves leading a team of warehouse associates, coordinating activities, and maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a background in logistics or warehouse management, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate is also ready to be apart of the process and is ready to get their hands dirty!

Must be available to work weekends and overnight.

Key Responsibilities :

• Staging and sorting of items, palletizing, and crating;
• Provide regular reports on transportation performance and key metrics (SLAs) to the operations leadership,
• Use of tools including but not limited to scanners, carts, hand trucks and dollies;
• Daily submission and completion of all required documentation in an accurate fashion;
• Follow all 5S processes consistently and effectively;
• Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture;
• Train new employees on company standards and procedures;
• Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of warehouse associates;
• Assign tasks and responsibilities, ensuring efficient workflow and productivity;
• Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, updates, and feedback;
• Implement and maintain warehouse processes and procedures to maximize efficiency;
• Enforce safety standards and protocols to ensure a safe working environment;
• Address and resolve any issues related to damaged or missing goods;
• Liaise with other departments, such as procurement, account management, and customer service, to coordinate activities and resolve issues;
• Communicate effectively with team members, management, and external partners.
• Travel to other facilities required on a semi regular basis.

Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field preferred;
• Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics role, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead position;
• Strong leadership and team management skills;
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities;
• Proficient in warehouse management software and the Google Suite;
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations;
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Physical Requirements :

• Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs);
• Prolonged periods of standing and walking;
