The Role
Would you welcome the opportunity to work for a quality-driven company, joining an entrepreneurial can-do team? American Custom Meats, a leading national meat supplier, has an immediate need for a Production Supervisor.
The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and managing multiple production lines ensuring the timely processing of raw materials into finished goods.
The key responsibilities of a Production Supervisor include, but are not limited to :
- Leads team members by managing, and executing plant processes.
- Manages team members in attaining production and quality goals, and monitors their attendance, job performance, and meal and rest breaks.
- Ensures appropriate resources (including materials, equipment, and staffing needs) are available to maintain the production schedule.

The Person
The key skills and qualities of a Production Supervisor :
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1-3 years’ experience as a Production Supervisor.
- 2-5 years’ experience in a food processing environment.
- Ability to lead a team and take initiative.
- Basic computer skills.
- Professional demeanour.
- Must be an effective verbal and written communicator.
