The Peninsula Chicago is seeking an Officer to join our Security team and be an integral part of the hotel's safety and guest-focused service.

Key Accountabilities :
- Serve as security ambassadors focusing on the safety and security of all guests, patrons, and associates as well as hotel assets.
- Officers will enforce all security procedures and hotel policies in an aggressive yet hospitable manner.
- Ensure proper operation of all responsibilities of Security operations.
- Maintain a high level of visibility and professionalism while on duty.
- Respond accordingly to all fire alarms, bomb threats, and elevator entrapments.
- Patrol all areas of the hotel noting unusual circumstances or safety violations.
- Maintain consistency in performance in accordance with both Peninsula and Forbes standards.
- Communicate with all departments to create a guest-centric experience.
General Requirements :
- 2 years of Security experience in the hospitality industry.
- Ability to handle a fast-paced, high-energy, stressful environment; flexibility with work schedule including some late nights and weekends.
- An excellent knowledge of the current computer applications being used.
- Ability to deal with a high level of work demand and pressure; individual must have great organizational skills.
- Strong command of written and spoken English.
