As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a vital role in assessing, planning, and delivering high-quality respiratory therapy in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Key Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive respiratory therapy services to patients across the lifespan, in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Assess patient conditions, develop care plans, implement therapeutic interventions, and evaluate outcomes.

Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care and continuity.

Utilize advanced respiratory care techniques and technologies to support treatment goals.

Adhere strictly to safety protocols, ethical standards, and clinical best practices.

Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Education : Associate degree required. Must be a graduate of an accredited and approved Respiratory Care Technician or Therapist program.

Licensure : Current Respiratory Therapy License through the South Carolina Medical Examiner’s office.

Certification :

Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician (CRTT) required.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association required within 7 days of hire.

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required during orientation.

Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification is required for NICU-trained therapists.

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification preferred.

2 to 5 years of relevant experience in respiratory therapy is strongly preferred, although new graduates are welcome to apply and will be supported through onboarding and mentorship.
