Job Title : BIAN Data Mapping Analyst

Job Summary :
We are seeking a highly skilled BIAN (Banking Industry Architecture Network) Data Mapping Analyst with extensive experience in the finance and banking sector.
The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing, mapping, and integrating banking data across various systems and platforms in alignment with BIAN standards.
This role requires a deep understanding of banking operations, data architecture, and industry regulations to ensure data integrity
Requirements :
- BIAN / ISO20020 schema experience
- API experience
- Banking domain (Fiserv DNA would be a plus)
- Leveraged BIAN schema (portal.bian.org) and mapped banking data through their system APIs to BIAN APIs
Responsibilities :
- Data Mapping and Analysis :
- Analyze and map banking data to BIAN standards.
- Develop data mapping documentation and specifications.
- Collaborate with business and IT teams to understand data requirements and sources.
- Integration and Implementation :
- Lead data integration projects, ensuring seamless data flow between systems.
- Implement BIAN data models and frameworks within the organization's infrastructure.
- Coordinate with software development teams to integrate data mapping solutions.
- Data Quality and Governance :
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
- Establish data quality metrics and monitoring processes.
- Support data governance initiatives and compliance with industry regulations.
- Stakeholder Collaboration :
- Work closely with business analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Provide training and support to team members on BIAN standards and data mapping processes.
- Conduct workshops and presentations to promote understanding of BIAN data models.
- Documentation and Reporting :
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of data mapping processes and results.
- Generate reports and dashboards to monitor data mapping effectiveness and project status.
- Regularly update stakeholders on progress and any issues encountered.
Preferred Certifications :
BIAN certification.
