What you’ll be responsible for :

As our Circle Ventures and Ecosystem Director, Circle is looking for you to develop and execute strategies to build, manage, and grow our partner ecosystem.

You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to expand market reach and enhance partners’ value through strategic alliances and collaborations.

You will be the face of Circle Ventures and drive broad engagement and win-win activation with our ecosystem partners (builders, entrepreneurs, portfolio companies, venture firms, and everyone else).

Our team aspires to :

  • Hunt for the signal amongst the noise to deliver insights, deals, and alignment towards our priorities. In addition to gathering intelligence from internal communities (product, engineering, and business primarily), we are the eyes and ears with the entrepreneurial community (founders / management and investors such as VC / PE / etc).
  • Advise through excellent business judgment to enable leadership to make the best-informed partnering, product, and investment decisions.
  • Deliver best-in-class deal execution, aligning the organization towards our objectives.

What you'll work on :

  • Work across Circle to ensure our ecosystem segmentation reflects our opportunity
  • Design, build, and execute programs and content to activate our entire ecosystem of startups, entrepreneurs, and aligned investors through a cross-functional effort
  • Manage engagement and programs for our portfolio of 100s of investments.
  • Lead external and internal comms for Circle Ventures
  • Meet regularly with ecosystem participants, both from the Circle Ventures portfolio and generally, plus investors, to build key relationships and influence
  • Build intelligence to deliver ecosystem insights to internal audiences to impact Circle
  • Look for investment and partnership opportunities, potential competitive threats, and key industry trends / themes
  • Evangelize USDC and Circle’s presence within the broader VC ecosystem
  • Develop a robust understanding of the landscape, dynamics, and trends in which we operate (financial services / technology and crypto industries)

What you’ll bring to Circle :

  • 12+ years of relevant experience, including ecosystem and partner development, partner marketing, business development, venture investing, or management consulting
  • Demonstrated success in developing and driving partner ecosystems in blockchain / Web3
  • Excellent intrinsic capabilities, including strong quantitative and analytical skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong executive presence, high motivation, low ego, deep intellectual curiosity.
  • Ability to build relationships (internally and externally), lead projects / deals, prioritize opportunities in a rapid paced corporate and industry environment
  • Experience / familiarity with Slack, Apple MacOS and GSuite.
  • Bachelor’s degree required with an Economics, Finance, Business, Technology or related discipline preferred.
  • Masters of Business Administration (MBA) or advanced degree is a nice to have.

This position is eligible for day-one PERM sponsorship for qualified candidates.

Starting pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to : relevant experience, skill set, qualifications, and other business and organizational needs.

Please note that compensation ranges may differ for candidates in other locations.

Base Pay Range : $207,500 - $240,000

Annual Bonus Target : 20%

Also Included : Equity & Benefits (including medical, dental, vision and 401(k)). Circle has a discretionary vacation policy.
