Essential Functions :
- Read and interpret blueprints and manuals to perform maintenance tasks
- Set up and maintain various equipment including punch presses, conveyor systems, and automatic tape machines
- Operate equipment, run sample units, and make necessary adjustments
- Assist operators with equipment operation as needed
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment, diagnose problems, and obtain necessary parts
- Maintain equipment, clean, lubricate, and monitor press line operations
- Additional Responsibilities :
- Notify supervisor of equipment or operating problems, relieve operators for breaks, and adhere to safety rules
- Use precision measuring instruments and common hand tools
- Perform other duties as assigned
Job Scope :
Complete tasks with considerable judgment and initiative, provide recommendations for solutions, and complete critical thinking tasks effectively
Education and Experience Requirements :
2-3 years' experience in industrial machinery maintenance
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
- Knowledge of repair procedures and equipment operation, use of precision measuring instruments, and ability to exercise judgment
- Compliance with safety policies and procedures
Physical / Visual Demands / Work Environment :
Physical agility and strength required for the role
Environmental / Atmospheric Conditions :
- Work environment includes various atmospheric conditions and exposure to heat, humidity, and high noise levels
