Position / Specialty : CT / X-Ray Tech
Shift : 5x8 Days (7A - 3 : 30P shift, a 7 : 30A - 4 : 00P shift, and an 8 : 30A - 5 : 00P )
Years of experience REQ : Minimum 2 years' experience required.
First-timers accepted : Yes
Weekend REQ : Will work every other weekend
Certs REQ : ARRT & BLS required.
Is on-call REQ? No.
Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Will float as needed
Open to accommodating block schedule? No
Locals accepted : Yes- no radius.
Pending License accepted : Yes.
RTO Restrictions : Ideally no more than 5 days.
Guaranteed Hours : Client may cancel up to 3 shifts at any time for any assigned Aya Candidate without any penalty or obligation to pay Aya for such cancelled time.
On-call hours do not count towards the guaranteed minimum hours.
Special Requirements : Required Work Setting Experience : Adult Acute Care, Adult Outpatient, Emergency Department. Required Equipment Experience : PACS, Philips, Toshiba.
Required Abdomen and Pelvis CT / X-Ray Experience / Skills : Abdomen without and / or with contrast, Enterography study, Pelvis without and / or with contrast.
Required Chest CT / X-Ray Experience / Skills : Chest without and / or with contrast, Heart (e.g., calcium scoring, coronary angiography), Vascular chest (e.
g., pulmonary embolism, CTA, aorta). Required Head and Neck CT / X-Ray Experience : Carotid, Head without and / or with contrast, Sinuses, Soft tissue neck, Trauma Head.
Required Image Display and Post Processing Skills / Experience : Multiplanar reconstruction (MRP) and Region of interest measurement (ROI).
Required Professional Knowledge and Skills : Preparation and / or administration of contrast media, Radiation Safety, Starting Peripheral IVs, Venipuncture.
Required Special Procedures Skills / Experience : CT arthrography, Drainage, Myelography, Vascular CTA. Required Spine and Musculoskeletal CT / X-Ray Skills / Experience : Cervical, Lumbar, Musculoskeletal Trauma, Thoracic. Epic experience required.
