Job Requirements
- Minimum Years of Experience : 1 Year
- Traveler Experience : Unit WILL Accept 1st time travelers
- Skills : Telemetry, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Cardiac GTT exp. MUST be comfortable with cardiac drips including Cardizem, Dopamine, dobutamine, milrinone, amiodarone, Lasix and heparin.
- Certs : ACLS, BCLS
- Must pass EKG Testing prior to start for this specialty.
Schedule Information
- Ratios : 1 : 5-6.
- 36 or 48 hours accepted. If 48hrs, no OT billed until after 48 hours.
- Unit will accept contracts from 13 weeks+ up to March 15, 2025 (hard stop) to get the Unit through the Holidays!
- Shift : 12 HOUR NIGHTS; 18 : 45 - 07 : 15
- RTO : 7 days MAX
- Float Requirement : Yes, to other telemetry units.
- Weekend Requirement : 4 Weekend Days in a 6-week time track.
Unit Specific Information
- The telemetry unit requires travelers experienced with Telemetry, dysrhythmias management, and management of cardiac GTTs.
- 36 hours of unit orientation provided.
Additional Details
- RTO after booking is not allowed and is not allowed to be worked out onsite. Any call offs or additional RTO on unit, could possibly turn into a cancel and DNR.
- They may get various types of patients requiring telemetry monitoring including chest pain, arrhythmias, pacemaker, or defibrillator.
They work with a heart failure navigator.
