Job Description

Under limited supervision, performs a variety of routine and semiskilled tasks involving general maintenance and / or repair of client facilities, equipment and grounds.

Roles and Responsibilities :

  • Maintenance - Drywall repair, painting, plumbing and minor carpentry.
  • Operates power tools and site mobile equipment - forklift and aerial lift
  • Training for job duties provided by company as required
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Clean driving record
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to function as a team member in a demanding service environment
  • Ability to handle multiple projects with a minimum of direction
  • Some knowledge of computers preferred
  • Sound judgement and a high level of work ethic
  • Must have the ability to complete required safety classes that pertain to specific job duties
  • Performs all work in accordance with company safety procedures
  • Operates power tools and site mobile equipment

Qualifications :

  • High School Diploma, or GED
  • 1 year previous facilities maintenance / janitorial / engineering experience (preferred)
  • Ability to read and comprehend blueprints, drawings, schematics, specifications, codes and handbooks (preferred)
  • Ability to use various testing devices related to the mechanical trades (preferred)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to function as a team member in a demanding service environment
  • Ability to handle multiple projects
  • Some knowledge of computers (preferred)
  • Must have the ability to complete required safety classes that pertain to specific job duties.

Salary : $15 / hr. - $16 / hr.

The hourly rate is between $.15.00 and $16.00per hour, and the anticipated annual base compensation range for this position will be $31,200- $33,280 inclusive of required overtime

Working Conditions : Work performed both inside and outside, sometimes during inclement weather.
