We are seeking a highly professional, bright, and energetic Office Assistantfor our divorce / litigation firm located in Irvine.
This is a temp-to-hireposition that requires someone detail-oriented, with the ability to thinkoutside the box, and handle a variety of administrative duties in a busy legalenvironment.
A strong candidate will possess a professional demeanor, becomfortable interacting with clients and attorneys, and have excellentorganizational skills.
Pay Rate : $21.00 / hour
Hours : 8 : 30 AM 5 : 30 PM (1-hour lunch)
Key Responsibilities :
- Answer phones and manage all incoming calls in a courteous and professional manner.
- Maintain a clean, welcoming, and organized lobby for clients and visitors.
- Meet and greet clients and visitors, ensuring a positive experience from arrival.
- Assist attorneys and clients with coffee / water as needed.
- Perform administrative tasks including filing, scanning, shredding, and managing files, particularly handling and relocating closed cases in bankers' boxes for proper storage or shredding.
- Utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook to manage office tasks and communications efficiently.
- Order and organize office supplies, ensure the kitchen is tidy, and handle light maintenance of common areas.
- Maintain a professional and business-casual appearance while adhering to office protocol.
- Ensure confidentiality and professionalism in dealing with sensitive case materials.
Requirements :
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to think critically and solve problems independently.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced divorce / litigation office setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Prior office experience in a legal or professional services environment is preferred but not required.

This is a temp-to-hire position with competitive benefits and incentives uponfull-time employment. The firm offers :
