ENTEK is seeking applications for a Security Engineer to join us on-site at our Henderson, Nevada location (relocation within 40 miles of Henderson is required).

Key Responsibilities :
- Advanced Security Solutions : Design, implement, and manage advanced security technologies and solutions, including firewalls, intrusion detection / prevention systems, and encryption tools.
- Incident Response : Lead and manage complex security incident investigations, perform forensic analysis, and coordinate with relevant teams to mitigate and resolve incidents.
- Vulnerability Management : Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk analyses to identify and address security weaknesses.
- Security Architecture : Contribute to the design and enhancement of security architecture and infrastructure to ensure robust protection against emerging threats.
- Compliance and Governance : Ensure compliance with internal security policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Support audits and assessments as needed.
- Security Automation : Develop and implement automation scripts or tools to improve security operations and incident response efficiency.
- Patch Management : Oversee the patch management process, ensuring timely application of security updates and patches across systems and applications.
- Threat Intelligence : Monitor and analyze threat intelligence feeds to stay informed about the latest threats and vulnerabilities.
Apply this knowledge to enhance the organization’s security posture.
Documentation and Reporting : Maintain comprehensive documentation of security configurations, procedures, incidents, and resolutions.
Prepare and present reports on security metrics and incidents to management.
Working Environment
The hours for this role are Monday-Friday, starting at 7 : 00 a.m. On-call and after-hour availability may be occasionally required.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit for extended periods of time. Incumbents will complete tasks that require finger dexterity, reaching, handling, talking, hearing, and vision abilities including near / far, color, and focusing.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in IT security or a related field, with a demonstrated ability to handle complex security issues and projects.
- Strong knowledge of network security, threat detection, and prevention technologies. Experience with security monitoring tools (e.
g., SIEM, IDS / IPS, Firewalls) and vulnerability assessment tools.
- Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or similar are highly desirable.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and handle complex security challenges.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience managing security projects and working collaboratively across teams to achieve security objectives.
- Satisfactory results from a pre-employment drug screen.
- Satisfactory results from a pre-employment background check.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
- Experience with cloud security and securing cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Familiarity with security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, TISAX).
