Shift :   1st Shift

Work Schedule :   Monday through Friday, 5 : 30 AM to 2 : 00 PM

Job Description :

The Production Welder will perform routine hand-welding or robotic welding on both repetitive and non-repetitive tasks on standard and near-standard assemblies. Responsibilities include de-burring, grinding, and fitting components prior to welding, as well as grinding and polishing finished elements as required. Additionally, the role involves blocking jigs or positioning parts prior to welding and assisting other operators as directed or required.

In this Function You Will :

• Perform work from manufacturing information, bills of material, and written and / or oral instructions.
• Utilize manufacturing information to determine necessary parts / inventory, jigs / fixtures, and obtain materials from stock areas.
• Complete necessary preparation work such as wiping, degreasing, de-burring, or grinding of components.
• Pick up and place scrap in appropriate containers. Documentation and record keeping may be required.
• Operate various welding equipment including spot welders, arc welders, plasma TIG welder, MIG welder, and cutting tools.
