JOB DESCRIPTION
The Habilitation Technician is responsible for providing one-on-one services to consumers and assisting in the implementation of consumer goals as outlined within the client’s supportplan.
Responsibilities
- Assists in the implementation of written goals from the treatmentplan
- Instructs and reinforces target goal outcomes according toconsumer
- Accurately notes consumer responses and results to staff; interventions and assessmentvia properdocumentation
- Maintains appropriate professionalconduct
- Assists in the development of consumer treatment plan andgoals
- Performs other duties asassigned / necessary
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GEDpreferred
- CPR / BCLS certificationrequired
- TBscreening
- Training treatment plan
- Active driver’s license in the event transportation is taking place ( asapplicable)
- Ability to effectively elicit / provide information to and from appropriate individuals(including, but not limited to, supervisors, co-workers, clients) via strong communication skills;
proficiency in the English language may berequired
- Computer proficiency required
- Must be at least 18 years ofage
