Everstaff is seeking Software Developer to join a prominent client we have in Pittsburgh. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our clients and stakeholders.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, propose technical solutions, and deliver scalable and robust software applications.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications and implementation plans.
  • Design, develop, and test software applications and features using industry best practices and coding standards.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code across multiple programming languages and technologies.
  • Participate in code reviews, debugging sessions, and troubleshooting efforts to ensure software quality and reliability.
  • Implement and integrate third-party APIs, libraries, and services to extend the functionality of our software products.
  • Optimize software performance, scalability, and security through efficient algorithms, data structures, and architecture designs.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies, tools, and trends in software development to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Document software designs, code, and technical processes to facilitate knowledge sharing and maintainability.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers and team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and learning.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies, principles, and best practices.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira), and collaboration platforms (e.g., Slack).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of database systems and SQL query language is desirable.
