Associate Menswear Designer Psycho Bunny - New York, NY ASSOCIATE DESIGNER
Psycho Bunny is a rapidly growing brand looking for a talented and passionate Associate Designer. Reporting to the Creative Director, the Associate Designer will support in the development of all categories of product;
knits, graphic tees, woven shirts, sweatshirts and hoodies, sweaters, swimwear, and accessories.
To succeed, you will need to be highly engaged with the latest trends and stay informed of creative approaches.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Create Adobe Illustrator sketches in order to develop color combos for all categories
- Help to create color combos for all product categories
- Responsible for design and development of sub-category (i.e., baseball caps within accessories) with direction from Creative Director
- Creation of tech packs with sketch and tech detail
- Maintenance of style master in Google Sheets
- Assist in presentation of collection at twice yearly sales meeting, as well as other quarterly presentations
WHO YOU ARE You have the following skillset :
- Degree in Fashion Design or Equivalent
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar role in the fashion industry
- Basic technical knowledge of garment construction
- Technical knowledge of garment construction
- Strong knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, as well as Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, Slides, etc.
- Self-starter that shows initiative, dedication and commitment to the brand
- Work independently and collaboratively within a strong design team
- A multi-faceted person who possesses a strong ability to manage multiple projects at once and meet timeline requirements
- An excellent communicator capable of presenting ideas to a team
- An organized, results-oriented and self-motivated team player
- A critical eye for ones own work and the work of others, with the ability to provide constructive criticism and propose solutions
Provide portfolio with recent relevant works either online or in PDF format (no larger than 10mb)

This role is based out of our New York office, conveniently located in the heart of the Fashion District.
