Minimum 1+ years special education experience required.
Special Education Teacher
Location : Cleveland, Oklahoma
Position Type : Full-Time
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement educational programs for students with disabilities.
- Create and maintain IEPs per regulations.
- Use diverse instructional strategies.
- Monitor and assess student progress.
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents.
- Maintain accurate student records.
- Engage in professional development.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Special Education or related field (Masters preferred).
- Valid Oklahoma teaching certification in Special Education.
- Knowledge of IDEA, ADA, and state regulations.
- Experience with diverse learning needs.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Collaborative team player.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience with assistive technology and adaptive tools.
- Background in behavior intervention plans.
- Training in crisis intervention.
