Essential FunctionsWorking under the direction of the supervising physician the PA will care for patients by taking medical histories, order and interpret laboratory tests and images, make diagnoses, and prescribe medications, initiating and performing consultations and follow-ups as allowed by State RegulationsRecord pertinent data on patient charts for signature by M.

Ensure availability and completeness of documentation, reports and imaging documentation.Facilitate supervising physician referral of patients to the appropriate health care facilities, agencies, or other resources of the community or other physicians Perform chart auditsAssess patients’ needs and Provide patient education and instruction regarding treatment planAll other specific tasks delegated by supervising physician in accordance with Regulations and the physician assistant’s knowledge and experience.
