We are seeking a Product Manager to champion our Slack AI efforts. This role is an opportunity to shape the future of work by infusing AI into our products to make them more intelligent, efficient, and personalized.

We are creating an AI-powered Slack experience to unlock the collective knowledge of an organization and give new productivity superpowers to teams.

You’ll be exploring the boundaries of what’s possible with LLMs and AI / ML technology and find innovative ways to apply learnings to benefit Slack customers.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Prototype, build and land delightful AI Slack experiences, leading with deep user empathy
  • A guide on trends in the AI / ML space, and find innovative ways to apply learnings to benefit Slack customers
  • Develop a product strategy and roadmap that focuses on the opportunities that have the biggest customer impact, making our users lives more pleasant and productive on Slack
  • Inspire executives, leadership, and cross-functional peers on your product vision and solutions, working collaboratively with engineering, design, research, and other PMs to drive work forward
  • Execute at a fast pace with a focus on user experience, impact, and learning, making trade-offs, anticipating staffing needs, risks, and ensuring frequent and clear communication

What You Should Have

  • 10+ years of experience leading major product initiatives across consumer or direct-to-customer business products
  • Proven track record of prototyping and launching innovative and user-centered products
  • Deep understanding of AI technologies and their applications
  • Customer empathy and product craft, with a strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, whether working with executives, cross-functional partners, or when mentoring peers
  • Impeccable follow-through. You say what you’ll do, and do what you say. You hold your team to this standard. You don’t let details slip
  • Tolerance for ambiguity, creativity in strategy and execution tactics, and always improving the status quo and moving things forward
  • As an Individual Contributor role, we are looking for a product leader who is excited to define and build the future of Slack

For New York-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $193,200 to $355,900.

For Colorado-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $175,600 to $296,600.

For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $175,600 to $326,300.

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $193,200 to $355,900.

Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
