What you’ll achieveAs a Mechanical Senior Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for developing next generation data center infrastructure solutions at the server, rack, and data center level.

You will work closely with DELL engineering architects, CTO, sales teams, and customers to develop innovative data center solutions.

You will : Manage multiple programs at once, some at the customer solution level, others supporting new technology initiatives.

Develop system solutions from Compute to Customer Data CenterDemonstrate engineering rigor and leadership across various disciplines, mechanical, power, and thermals.

Work with internal cross-functional teams, ODMs, and suppliersDesign, develop, and implement cost effective methods of testing and troubleshooting systems.

Here’s what we are looking for with this role : Essential Requirements 12+ years of experience with a bachelor’s degree;

or 8+ years with a master’s degreeExperience solving complex thermal / mechanical problems from the IT hardware level to the data center level.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills presenting to leadership and customers, eEfficient in the use of CAD and various simulation softwareDeep knowledge of hardware and software interactions, and ability to apply this understanding to resolve issues quickly and effectively.

Deep knowledge of Rack form factors, specifications, and industry standardsCompensationDell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
