Job Title : Director of Product Line - Oilfield Chemistry
Location : Flexible- Prefer Houston or Denver. The position can be remote but travel to our Houston location will be required approximately one time per month.

Position Overview :
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Product Line with a technical background to lead our product management efforts in the upstream oil and gas market, specifically focusing on oilfield chemistry.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of oilfield chemistry, along with extensive experience in new product development, regulatory compliance, market intelligence, and pricing strategy.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and execute strategic plans to drive growth and profitability of our oilfield chemistry product line.
- Lead the development and commercialization of new products, ensuring alignment with market needs and company objectives.
- Conduct market research and analysis using Enverus or equivalent tools to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and customer requirements.
- Utilize strong Excel skills or other data analytics tools to analyze sales data, market trends, and customer feedback, translating insights into actionable strategies.
- Collaborate with sales, R&D, and other cross-functional teams to drive product innovation and market introduction.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for all products within the oilfield chemistry product line, including experience creating safety data sheets (SDS).
- Develop and implement pricing strategies that maximize profitability while maintaining competitiveness in the market.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, industry associations, and regulatory agencies.
- Provide leadership and direction to the product management team including the Marketing Communications team.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering) required; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of five years of experience in product management or marketing roles within the upstream oil and gas industry, with a focus on oilfield chemistry.
- Proven track record of success in new product development, market analysis, and strategic planning.
- Knowledge of completions and production intermediates chemistry.
- Experience using Enverus or equivalent software to mine data and extract actionable insights.
- Strong proficiency in Excel or other data analytics tools for performing market analysis and forecasting.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance in the oil and gas sector. Overseeing the creation of safety data sheets (SDS) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and build relationships with key stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve goals and objectives.
