About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse Job Specialty : Operating Room Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night 3x12-Hour (7 : 00 PM - 7 : 00 AM) Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Minimum of 1 year of experience required License : OR license required (can submit if pending) Certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS Must-Have : EPIC charting experience- Completion of 40 hours of orientation Job Description : The nurse will work in the Surgical Services department during night shifts.
- Expected patient-nurse ratios range from 1 : 3 to 1 : 5.- Nurses will not be required to work on weekends or be on call.
- Block schedules are uncertain.- Flu vaccine requirement is currently unknown.- Nurses may be required to float between units and to nearby affiliated hospitals.
- The facility type is Short Term Acute Care, with a capacity of 109 beds.- Scrub colors are provided, with any color acceptable in specific departments.
- COVID-19 vaccination is required, with medical and religious exemptions allowed.- Travel nurses are expected to work 3 out of the 5 major holidays : Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day.
- Orientation hours are non-billable, and modules completed pre-start are self-reported.- A one-year reference covering employment within the last three years is necessary.
- Communication devices will be provided if required for the assignment. Additional Information : Candidates must adhere to a 50-mile radius rule.
- Background checks will be handled prior to submission, with any issues requiring approval.- Return staff must have a 3-month gap between permanent and travel assignments.
- Completion of job-related modules should average 16 hours but are non-billable.- Commitment to limited requested time off is preferred to streamline approval.
