The NEEDS Center is looking for an Accounting Manager!

In this role you will be working under the supervision of the Vice President of Finance.
Your responsibilities will include :
- Assisting with the oversight of accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll functions
- Maintenace of the billing and tracking of all revenue streams
- Facilitating the month end closings, including ensuring that all revenue and expenses are booked
- Reviewing financial reports such as AR / AP ledgers, depreciation schedules, bank reconciliations, balance sheets profit and loss statements, payroll reports / reconciliations
- Utilizing QuickBooks and Sage Intacct to enter and review financial transactions
- Assisting with audit and tax return preparation as well as other reporting throughout the year
Requirements of the job :
- Bachelor's degree in accounting (required)
- Understanding of non-profit accounting standards and payroll law
- Knowledge of UFR reporting would be preferred
- Knowledge of general accounting practices, budgeting practices and procedures, including filing, recordkeeping, accounting and statistics
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, time management, problem-solving, and math skills
- Ability to supervise others effectively
- High level of accountability, accuracy, and efficiency, especially when multitasking
The NEEDS Center specializes in providing services and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
There is a particular emphasis on providing services to individuals with interfering challenging behavior and / or dual diagnosis.
