for Direct Support Staff / Registered Behavior Tech

Job Summary
Are you passionate about helping others and making a difference in their lives? SanZie Healthcare Services is looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual to provide support in the home of the client, as outlined in their ISP and Service Plan.

Hours
- Monday through Friday : 4 pm - 8 pm
- Weekends : Flexible for community outings
- Note : When school is out, the schedule will be from 10 am to 6 pm
Salary Range : $14.00 - $15.00 per hour (Based on Experience) Total Hours : Minimum of 20 hours per week , with the potential for up to 40 hours per week. Duties & Responsibilities
- Personal Care : Assist with grooming, showering, hygiene, and hair care.
- Domestic / Household Assistance : Teach and assist with cooking simple meals, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning the bathroom, dishwashing, room cleaning, and laundry.
- Health and Safety Care : Remind and assist with medications, physical exercises, daily range of motion, stretching, and walking.
- Documentation : Accurately document daily progress according to the client's service plan and IEP.
- Community Assistance : Facilitate community engagement, social activities, appointments, grocery shopping, and various recreational events (movies, church, horseback riding, plays, concerts).
- Communication : Maintain open communication with the agency regarding any questions or concerns about the client and / or family.
- Support : Encourage and support the client's growth, learning, and development both at home and in the community.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old .
- Ability to read and write in English .
- Must be punctual and possess a valid Georgia driver's license and auto insurance .
- CPR & First Aid Certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross is required.
- Current TB test .
- Excellent communication skills are essential.
