Heavy Equipment Repair Technician (Automotive Maintenance / Repair Technician)

Volvo Cars in Charleston / Ridgeville, South Carolina is seeking a (Heavy Equipment Repair Technician) Senior Automotive Repair Technician to support our manufacturing facility.
A Day in The Life Of :
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair vehicles after assembly.
- Familiarity with hand tools and repair processes.
- Experience with Answer to All Car Questions ( ATACQ) and Volvo QPSAbility to communicate with other team members and share knowledge of issues that have been found or need to be repaired.
What you will Bring to Volvo / Qualifications :
High School Graduate of equivalent Required.
Technical degree (in automotive technology) a strong plus.
ASE certifications in and or all the following (a strong plus) :
ASE certified in Brakes
ASE certified in Electrical / electrical systems
ASE certified in heating and air conditioning preferred.
Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM) certification / training or automotive brand certification / training a strong plus.
This position regularly works daily and weekend overtime, depending on yard / repair conditions.
All candidates must pass a written skills assessment.
