Job Title : Waste Broker
Pay Range : Starting at $80,000
Responsibilities typically include :
- Support client in meetings with stakeholders and waste transport and disposal (T&D) contractors.
- Be based locally, as needed, to the site and have the ability to be onsite during waste management activities.
- Interface with waste management and T&D contractors to plan proper T&D communications, operations, and documentation.
- Create a waste management plan for site specific work.
- Field implementation and compliance with implementing procedures.
- Compliance with applicable Environmental, Health and Safety, Operations, Quality Assurance, Radiation Protection and Control, and Information Technology plans, procedures, training, and requirements.
- Complete and maintain the necessary documentation for proper management and T&D of the waste.
- Prepare Work Packages for waste management, transport, and disposal.
- Prepare tracking reports, forecasts, and shipment schedules for the waste.
- Prepare all applicable transportation documents for waste shipments.
- Prepare and provide a weekly and monthly status summary on waste management and T&D activities.
- Support the waste technicians, project manager and site personnel in effective and timely management and processing of the project waste.
- Work directly with disposal facility for proper documentation and waste profile.
- Analyze radiological, environmental, and chemical for proper waste disposal.
